History of the ETT (Exercise Tolerance Test) department of RIC dates back to the history of the institute itself. The department started functioning in 2013 and initially it was established with one ETT Machine. With the passage of time the load of patients were increased and now we are functional with 5 fully equipped ETT machines. These machines are placed in ETT department to cater the requirements of the institution. Currently the ETT department is capable of handling the following tests:
1. Exercise tolerance test with Bruce protocol and modified Bruce protocol.
2. Sub-maximal exercise tolerance test, for patients so advised.
3. Combined physical and pharmacological stress for myocardial perfusion studies.
4. Exercise tolerance test, employing other standard international protocols.
